Good steel. Doesnt hold an edge quite as long as s30v but its way easier to sharpen and cheaper. Really pretty well rounded steel. I used to abuse the shit out of my benchmade nimravus by just throwing it at trees or sticking it in the dirt or whitling aimlessly when i was bored in the field and it goes right back to shaving hair with a few mins on the stone.

No way would I pay what the nimravus is going for now. I was buying them in the $120-$150 range, with the G10 version at $150ish. The Kydex sheath on the nimravus is junk IMO, the Nylon is okay but the SOG Kydex is great for a production sheath. I'm sure you've watched it but gideonstactical review on the youtube is a very good representation.
